Modified From WinFCE 1.7
17MAR2009

I will be attempting to stay on top of the features
provided in WinFCE by Eiki in order to stay compatible,
yet still offer my own look to this excellent theme.

I have given this a version number now, I have been using it,
and now consider it to be out of it's beta phase.

If anyone finds any bugs, lemme know, I'll do what I can to correct them.

Added Icon Showing and Auto Menu-Break to desktop Menus,
Made Sure it's not on Config Menu in bottom Corner

Added Options to config menu to toggle Opaque or
Semi-Transparent (75%)

I've also included uxtender.exe to patch
uxtheme.dll for Windows XP sp2/sp3.

That lets you use the included XXX.MSStyle

WinFCE Dark
Modified From WinFCE 1.7
18FEB2009

Swapped Foobar200 into the E-Mail
slot on the DockBar.

Don't know if it's the case for everyone,
but the run box was broken for me.
All it did was ding, and do nothing.
Run Box works now.
Swapped with WinFCE 1.6

Changed TopBar date format
Now showing 24h time and dd/mm
US type date.

Inerted a Dynamic Popup in the Apps
menu to show the desktop contents.

Changed the colors to a darker Scheme.

I have also included XXX.MSStyles, it
goes great with the new dark look.

All Creativity if becuase of the original

General Notes
--------------

I started this theme as a modified version of a theme named "Openbox 3 or
linux_port_01 by chipmunkguy but now it's so much different (and so much more).
The MSstyle is also a modification (ajusted some colors and made other modifications
to be consistent with the LS theme) of a style named Flatliner by VonDerV
(http://vonderv.deviantart.com/) The Winamp Skin included with this theme is also
modified from VonderV's work.

Theme was designed to work on 1024x768, but should be ok to run on higher
resolutions with some tweaking. At some realy higher resolutions, the bars
might look too small.

Installation and Notes
-------------------------

Usualy, just extract the theme in your $themedir$ which should be something
like c:\litestep\themes\. The theme will then be installed to
c:\litestep\themes\WINFCE\. Just refresh your themelist and select it!

If this is the first time you are using an OTS compliant theme, please go to:
http://o-t-s.sf.net/theme_installation.html

msstyles, Winamp Skin, required dlls, some tweaks and a wallpaper included in /misc.

You need Visual Basic 7 runtimes for this theme (dynamp 0.51 dependancy),
they are included in the /misc folder, just paste them into c:\windows\system

To see foobar2k song title play out like it does with winamp, you need to paste
foo_winamp_spam.dll from /misc to your Foobar2k component folder.

To install the mssstyle theme, make sure your uxtheme.dll is hacked (just google
for " uxtheme.dll to know how to do it, it's easy) and just put the
winfce 1.1.msstyles in the windows\ressources\themes\WinFCE 1.1\ directory.

Also included in the /misc is a little utility called Throboff, which remove the
little windows logo in the top right of your explorer (file manager). I've left
the original readme with it. There's also the .reg file to turn it back on.
Throboff website: http://toastytech.com/files/throboff.html

General Notes and Tips
---------------------------------

- Foobar2k 0.83 and previous are supported (no foobar2k 0.9 support yet)

- Toggling make litestep refresh, this is as intended to free as much memory
  as possible.

- The Theme setting buttons (to toggle the different bars and desklets) is at
the right side of the bottombar

- If you are not sure what a button is for, wait for the tooltip!

- Check out the theme.rc at the bottom for the predefined hotkeys, you
can also add your own ones there. (WIN+Z brings the launcher up front)

Known Issues
-------------

- When toggling on/off the topbar, it minimizes all your windows. This is as intended
to fix a little bug/limitation with the jdesk module.

Applications suggestion
------------------------

Here is a little list of nice applications which I recommend to use with the
theme, with litestep and windows in general that yield great results. Also,
every one of them are free! These programs are easily found on the web, just
google their name!

- Tango icons shell hack
Awesome windows hack that replace most of the default system icons by those
done by the tango project (used in the newer linux distributions)
Get more information and get it at: http://darkt.net/index.php?page=tango

- Openoffice 2.0
Replace MS office realy well, Write is actualy better than MS Word, altho the
powerpoint equivalent kinda lack in some departement, especialy when it comes
  to preset layouts

- The Gimp
Who needs Photoshop when you have the Gimp!

- Winamp
Great media player for windows, Included with this theme is a skin for it.
Just look at the included screenshot to see my favorite way to use it. Then
you just need to open the media library to browse your media (ALT+L).

- Miranda IM
Great multi instant messenger protocols client. Fits realy well with the
"lite" look of this LS theme and is a modular program so you can have lots
  of different plugins.

- Mplayer classic
Does that program need any introduction. Best media player to play any kind
of videos for windows. Period. Included with the XP Codec Pak

- Xp Codec Pak
Mostly all the codecs you need to play videos under windows. You would just
need to get quicktime alternative beside this pack.

Planned for future versions
----------------------------

- Make a fitting LogonUI
- Comment the code some more
- Finish to tweak some details in the winamp skin
- Add more customizable option to the topbar
- Add more desklets
- Improve Dockbar functionalities (to add/remove links on the fly)
- Add more icons, make better ones...

Revision History
-----------------

1.7 (20-03-06)

- Fixed a little graphic bug on the system tray when less than 2 icons where displayed
- Added a new desklet: Note (let you show/edit content of a text file on the desktop)
- Changed how the taskbar and system tray resize themselves, should fix a bug with
some icons and the general behaviour is simply better.
- Removed dependancy to the lsxcommand module, was able to do the editbox with xlabel.
- New launcher at last... now with fully dynamic trash label!
- Changed clock to 24h format
- Added new custom shutdown menu (thanks to Andymon)
- Fixed a bug with the screenshot button
- Migrated from geekamp to dyamp, the audioplayer now can control both Winamp and
Foobar2k (0.83 and lower, SEE INSTALLATION NOTES)

1.5 (13-02-06)

even more easily when your current program window is maximized

- Added some 'light-up' effect to icons when hovering them.
- Changed module dependencies to some newer versions
- Added Lsxcommand to the topbar, just by the application menu.
- Removed the now obsolete runcommand button

Very VERY nice. this is only one of 2 themes i've found that employ all of the features I like in a solid, well-rounded litestep theme and put them into a simple and intuitve interface. Mad props! If I were to make only one request/suggestion, it would be to add some additional visual styles. But that's petty nonsense. Its fast, light and uber easy to use. PLUS (and my favorite part) is that it installed without a hitch! I hate having to tinker with themes to make the errors go away... Usually end up just not using the theme :) Top work, here! My desktop is finally productive again!!!

VERY VERY NICEEEE : D

i really like this theme too

but i have just one question and problem with it

after i run full screen games, the position of my stats and notes on the sides gets all messed up.

for example the game is running in 800x600 resolution

but my screen is in  1280x1024 resolution

the stats and notes will move inside the 800x600 portion of the screen even after i exit the game for a while.

and stay there, the position will be at original x* 800/1280 and original y * 600/1024

basically, its trapped inside the 800x600 resolution

and cannot move out beyond that

i have no idea to how to fix it.

but reinstalling it a FEW times did the trick( it was like 5 ) : <

but i was just wondering if there was any other ways.
