I like it minimalized and Rocketdock with a matching light Litestep theme is the ultimate choice for me.
It´s simply just a systray and a clock in a auto-hidden bar at the top of the screen. And a popup of course. Clicking the clock will toggle through a number of system informations. It´s about 9 kb.
I use Rocketdock. Theme included in "extra" folder.
